From curse to blessing

The spiritual world is real, and we do not always realise its consequences. The Bible contains many keys to get from bondage to freedom. Jesus still heals and frees today.

Do things God's way. God's Word is truth, regardless of your feelings or emotions. By accepting His Word as truth, healing and deliverance will begin to flow.

"Sanctify them by Thy truth; Thy Word is truth." - John 17:17

Jesus says:

"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." - Mat 11:28

This is an invitation from Jesus to come to Him. He will fulfil this promise, but it requires honesty and bringing everything that burdens you into the light.

"If we confess our sins: he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9

Sins can cause demonic load. This can stem from personal sins, but can also be passed on from earlier generations. Generational ties can often be recognised by patterns within families or households, such as recurrent illnesses, divorces, depression, anxiety, or addictions, etc.

God warns us in His Word against disobedience and idolatry. This includes serving other gods, occultism, witchcraft, divination, new Age practices, etc. This allows demons, curses/generational curses to enter.

Here are 7 landmarks of curses that can operate in lives and families.

Symptoms of evil spirits

Repeated or constant emotional problems

• resentment, hatred, anger, bitterness, inferiority, rejection, jealousy, depression, anxiety, self-pity, sadness, worry, insecurity, doubt.

Repeated mental or mental problems

• mental torture, indecision, compromise, confusion, mental explanation, amnesia.

Repeated or constant sexual problems

• impure thoughts that keep returning, fantasy, impure actions, counter-natural perverse tendencies.

Repeated or constant speech problems

• lying, swearing, profanity, criticism, ridicule, gossip.

Physical diseases

• diseases that have no obvious cause.

Vote

• Hearing compelling thoughts or voices telling you to do something are demons.

Act according to God's principles, because His Word is truth. Emotions are temporary, but God's Word brings life and freedom.
