Recognition of witchcraft

Witchcraft is the dominant and driving force behind divination and sorcery. God has a plan and a future for everyone's life. The devil copies from God and also holds out a future to people. He misleads people through a fortune-telling spirit, which can subtly whisper falsehoods. This gets you caught up in all kinds of errors, this will lead to destruction over time.

For I, I know the thoughts I have of you, says the LORD. They are thoughts of peace and not of evil, namely, to give you future and hope. Jer 29:11

It often starts with rebellion, this is an entrance to the demonic world. Think of Adam and Eve, the serpent twisted God's truth, witchcraft twisted truths. From this came the whole Fall.

Verily, rebelliousness is idolatry is sin of sorcery and unseemliness and serving of teraphim. 1Sam 15:23

Resistance is disobedience (rebellion)

Say: Thus says the Lord LORD : Woe to those women who sew magic bands around all wrists and make veils for the heads of great and small to catch souls!
Do you want to capture the souls of My people and keep your own souls alive?

Witchcraft preys on souls (mind, will, emotions) of the faithful. It is a fortune-telling spirit that uses your thoughts to enter. It deceives you in your thinking. It twists God's truth.

This spirit wants to influence you to pull you away from God. It wants to link you to sin and bind you.
